CSM Compliance Reporting
The CSM Compliance Reporting Utility scans drawings for all objects and compares them against
the standards database. It serves as a method to quickly and easily check if a drawing or set of
drawings complies with the prescribed standard and see exactly where deficiencies lie.
Furthermore, the results of the compliance report can be written out as an HTML document which
can successively be saved as a CSV file for use in Microsoft Excel.
When the dialog is first launched CSM will scan the current drawing and display all results. The
tabs below the entity list allow you to see the entities separated according to type or all together.
To begin refining the entity list start with the
Display Control
Tab at the bottom of the dialog. Use
the
Standards Control
section to choose
Non-Standard
,
Standard
, or
All
entities. Under
Entity
Control
there are 3 check boxes. The
Display Current Drawing
options allows the user to turn of
the current drawing so that the compliance check only applies to External References and/or
Additional Drawings. The two Layer related options control how layers 0 and Defpoints are
treated.
