Layer Menu
A partial view of the CMI Standards Manager menu is shown in the figure below. The layer
commands available within the software include layer creation; identify, list, and report layers
found within a drawing; update layer properties based on your CAD Standards; change the layer
states of layer groups; as well as save and restore layer states.
Layer Toolbar
The fourth button from the left on the CAD Standards toolbar is a fly-out toolbar containing all
available
layer
commands. Click and hold the mouse on top of the toolbar button to see all
available functions as shown in the figures below. Drag the mouse to the desired command and
release the mouse button. This will activate the new command and leave that command’s
button as the current button on the CAD Standards toolbar. Alternatively the toolbar can be
activated separately by right-clicking on the Standards Manager toolbar and selecting
“Standards Manager – Layers” from the now active context.
