The Layer Source and Layer List sections of the Layer Create dialog can be resized. Click and
drag the divider between the two sections to resize. If either the Layer Source or Layer List
sections need to be isolated drag the divider to cover the other section.
Select Discipline
Before choosing the method to import layers, choose a discipline. Only the groups defined
within the selected discipline will be available for selection using the
Layer Selection Options
commands of the
dialog. Use the
Discipline
drop-down box to select the desired
discipline before choosing the selection method.
Standards Manager
allows for selection of more than one discipline during one session, if
necessary. That is, one discipline can be selected and layers from it added to the list, then
another discipline selected and layers from it added. All the selected layers will be displayed in
the Layer Listing of the
Layer Create
dialog.
Layer Selection by Category
Choose this option to select layers by a combination of category components. The CSM Layer
Selection (By Category) window is shown in the figure below.
