Set Current
Selecting a layer and choosing
Set Current
causes that layer to become the current AutoCAD
layer when the layer creation session ends by clicking
OK
.
Remove from list
This command removes the selected layer names from the list in the current session of the
dialog. A removed layer will not be deleted from the layer standard, nor will a removed layer be
deleted from the current drawing, if it exists.
Change Layer Color
This option is used to change the assigned color of the selected layer(s). The available colors
for each layer will depend upon its lineweight in combination with the color to lineweight
assignment if established in the current standard.
Layers may only be assigned a new color within their own lineweight. Once a layer has been
selected clicking the
Change Color
button activates the
Select Layer Color
dialog shown in
the figure below. At the top,
Lineweight
shows the lineweight assigned to that layer. Note that it
is grayed out and cannot be changed. Select the desired color from the list of available colors
and click
OK
to make the change.
