The Commands section of the dialog allows you to change the layer and/or text style of the
selected text objects(s).
To modify a text entity, simply highlight the desired row(s) then click either Change Style or
Change Layer. The user is prompted to choose the style or layer from the database to apply to
the selected entities. In the figure above, if the user checks the Maintain Existing Text Height ,
then the text style will be updated without changing the text height. If MText objects are selected
in the list the Remove Format Overrides button will become available. This will remove any
manual overrides to the text style.
To scan multiple drawings for conversion use the External References Tab or Additional
Drawings Tab at the bottom of the Text Style Conversion Utility dialog. See the Compliance
Reporting topics o n External References and Additional Drawings for further help.
